Fine art and commercial photography by Radek Vik
I have been drawn to the arts in some form or other my entire life. However, it was not until my early twenties when I switched my red Fender Stratocaster for my first Nikon camera. Until then, photography was almost hidden from me.
At that time, there were no real differences between cameras. They were all just black boxes hiding film inside. And because I loved Paul Simon’s song Kodachrome, the choice was easy. I loved to take photographs and wanted to have a Nikon camera.
I have owned many cameras since then. However, one thing still remains. I still do love to take photographs. I still can’t wait for my next photo trip or session. I still can’t wait for the first moment I see my new files or prints. Although landscape photography was initially my primary focus, I am now equally amazed by other fields of photography. I love street photography, concerts and shows photography, portraits and beauty photography.
To me, photography is the best way to express myself, and being a photographer is my way of life.
